This unusually thin carved burl bowl from Laos, made from the rare Afzelia Xylocarpa tree, which is native to Southeast Asia is an incredible piece of art! Since about 2005, this particular tree wood has become increasingly difficult to find, especially in the burl form. Any rare wood aficionado/collector would know this is quite a find!
